 i feel like that lotus flower (you know, the one from the lotus sutras, that rises up from the mud at the bottom of the pond, to become a thing of beauty!)
                                i've spent most of my life putting other peoples feelings first (apparantly this isn't  something to be proud of.), worrying that i don't upset anybody and shying away from any kind of confrontation, rejection or for that matter intimacy.
                                 you'd think being a talented musician would've brought me out of my shell, but no such luck. no for me it was yoga that started the germination. luckily my teacher is also a respected life coach and psychologist, because sometimes we all need a bloody good kick up the butt!
                                so, I studied Karuna yoga,  with Ruth White  in oxfordshire, england. Karuna yoga is Iyengar inspired and in my personal opinion it differs in that it doesn't have the “B.ang, K.ick, S.lap associated with Iyengar.                                   I started Teaching my own classes in september 2007, with the idea that, although i'd only been practising yoga for about 18 months, the only way I would learn to teach, would be to teach! I'm certainly learning about my weaknesses and stuff! my goal is to make chiropractors a thing of the past (sorry!) Osteopaths  can relax for a while!

Had some tough times of late. Moved to America, with the plan to get married to Melissa, but we decided to just stay friends and so, I had to head back to Ireland. So, I'm single again and feeling a bit like the salmon that takes the jump at the waterfall and ends up back down the bottom, bruised but ready to try again! I wonder what  the universe has in store for me now!
